讀經一
(恭讀厄則克耳先知書 the Book of Prophet Ezekiel 34 : 11一12, 15一17)
上主天主這樣說：「看哪！我要親自去尋找我的羊，我要親自照顧我的羊。就像牧人在羊群失散的那一天，怎樣去尋找自己的羊，我也要怎樣尋找我的羊；有些羊在陰雲和黑暗的日子四散到各處，我要把牠們救回來。我要親自牧放我的羊，親自使牠們臥下休息。上主天主說：失落的，我要尋找；迷路的，我要領回；受傷的，我要包紮；病弱的，我要治療；肥胖和強壯的，我要看守；我要按正義牧放牠們。上主天主說：我的羊群哪！關於你們，上主天主這樣說：看哪！我要在羊與羊之間，綿羊與山羊之間，施行審判。」

Thus says the Lord GOD: I myself will look after and tend my sheep. As a shepherd tends his flock when he finds himself among his scattered sheep, so will I tend my sheep. I will rescue them from every place where they were scattered when it was cloudy and dark. I myself will pasture my sheep; I myself will give them rest, says the Lord GOD. The lost I will seek out, the strayed I will bring back, the injured I will bind up, the sick I will heal, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy, shepherding them rightly. As for you, my sheep, says the Lord GOD, I will judge between one sheep and another, between rams and goats. —— The Word of the Lord.

【答】上主是我的牧者， 我實在一無所缺。
R: The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.
- 上主是我的牧者, 我實在一無所缺。祂使我憩息在翠綠的草地上。
- 祂領我近幽靜溪水旁。使我精神振奮, 體力恢復; 為了光榮祂的名, 祂領我踏上正途。
- 在我敵人面前, 祢為我擺設筵席; 在我的頭上傅油, 使我的杯爵滿溢。
- 在我一生歲月裡, 常沐浴祢恩寵幸福中; 在我有生之年, 我要常住在上主的殿裏。
讀經二
(聖保祿宗徒致格林多人前書 the first letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians 15 : 20——26, 28)
弟兄們：基督實在從死人中復活了，祂是死人中第一位復活的。因為死亡是因一個人而來的，死者的復活也是因一個人而來的；就如在亞當內眾人都死了，照樣，在基督內眾人也都要復活；不過各人要依照自己的次序：首先是基督，然後是那些在基督再來時屬於祂的人，最後才是結局；那時，基督將消滅一切率領者，掌權者和大能者，並把王權交給天主父。因為基督必須為王，直到祂把所有仇敵屈伏在祂的腳下。那最後被毀滅的仇敵便是死亡。萬物都歸屬在聖子權下以後，聖子自己也要屈伏於那使萬物歸服祂的父，使天主在萬有之中，超越萬有，統御萬有。 —— 上主的聖言
Brothers and sisters: Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through man, the resurrection of the dead came also through man. For just as in Adam all die, so too in Christ shall all be brought to life, but each one in proper order: Christ the first fruits; then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ; then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has destroyed every sovereignty and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. When everything is subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all. —— The Word of the Lord.

那時候，耶穌對門徒們說：「當人子在光榮中、和眾天使一同降來的時候，祂要坐在光榮的寶座上，萬民都要聚集在祂面前； 祂要把他們彼此分開，好像牧人分開綿羊和山羊一樣：把綿羊放在右邊，山羊放在左邊。那時候，君王要對那些在祂右邊的人說：『我父所降福的人哪，你們來承受從創世以來就給你們預備好的國度吧！因為我餓了，你們給我吃的；我渴了，你們給我喝的；我無家可歸，你們收留我；我衣不蔽體，你們給我穿的；我病了，你們看顧我；我坐牢，你們來探望我。』那時，義人回答祂說：『主啊！我們什麼時候看見祢飢餓，而給了祢吃的，或口渴而給了祢喝的呢？ 我們什麼時候見祢無家可歸，而收留了祢，或衣不蔽體而給了祢穿的呢？我們什麼時候見祢生病，或坐牢，而來探望過祢呢？』君王便回答他們說：『我實在告訴你們：凡是你們對我最小一個兄弟所做的，就是對我做的。』」然後祂又對那些在左邊的人說：『你們這些可咒罵的人哪，離開我，到那給魔鬼和牠的使者所預備的永火裡去吧！因為我餓了，你們沒有給我吃的；我渴了，你們沒有給我喝的；我無家可歸，你們沒有收留我；我衣不蔽體，你們沒有給我穿的； 我生病或坐牢，你們沒有來探望我。』那時，他們也要回答說：『主啊！我們什麼時候見祢飢餓，或口渴，或無家可歸，或衣不蔽體，或有病，或坐牢，而沒有服侍祢呢？』君王回答他們說：『我實在告訴你們：你們沒有給最微小的一個人做這些事，便是沒有給我做。』這些不義的人要進入永罰，而那些義人卻要進入永生。」 —— 基督的福音
Jesus said to his disciples: “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ Then the righteous will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’ And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’ Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’ He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” —— The Gospel of the Lord.
