自使徒時代起，病人傅油聖事就為信徒帶來了恩典和治癒。 透過聖油的傅抹和祈禱，這個聖事為那些需要幫助的人提供了健康、寬恕和靈性力量的特別祈禱。

儘管它曾被稱為“臨終聖事”，但病人傅油聖事並非只適用於那些臨近生命盡頭的人。 相反，它適用於任何患有重病的人，不論是急性或慢性病，或是因年長而體弱的長者。 然而，這個聖事並不適用於嬰兒或七歲以下的兒童。

我們誠摯邀請您參加將於十二月十五日（星期日）在我們的國語彌撒中舉行的病人傅油聖事集體慶祝儀式。 傅油儀式將由歐神父在廖執事講道之後進行。

為了方便操作，我們懇請那些行動不便的教友坐在前排，以便歐神父順利進行按手禮和傅油儀式。

讓我們在十二月十五日齊聚一堂，以敞開的心接受並祈求天主的療癒臨在於我們中間。

Since the time of the Apostles, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick has brought grace and healing to the faithful. Through the anointing with oil and prayer, this sacrament offers a special prayer for health, forgiveness, and spiritual strength to those in need.

While it was once referred to as “Last Rites,” the Anointing of the Sick is not only for those nearing the end of life. Rather, it is for anyone suffering from serious illness, whether acute or chronic, or those experiencing the frailty of advanced age. This sacrament, however, is not given to infants or children under the age of 7.

We warmly invite you to join our communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick on Sunday, December 15, at our 3PM Mandarin Mass. The Rite of Anointing will take place after the homily.

To assist with logistics, we kindly ask that those with mobility challenges sit in the front rows, so that the laying on of hands and anointing may be done smoothly.

Let us gather on December 15 with open hearts to receive and pray for God’s healing presence among us.
