讀經一
(恭讀宗徒大事錄 Acts 2:1-11)
五旬節到了，眾人都聚集在一起。忽然，從天上來了一陣響聲，好像暴風颳來，充滿了他們所在的那座房屋。有火一般的舌頭出現，分別停留在他們每一個人的頭上，眾人都充滿了聖神，照聖神賜給他們的能力，說起別種語言來。那時，住在耶路撒冷的，有從天下各國來的虔誠猶太人。 這聲音一響，就聚集了許多人，都非常驚奇，因為人人都聽見他們說各人本鄉的話。他們驚訝奇怪地說：「你看，這些說話的不都是加里肋亞人嗎？我們每人怎麼聽見他們說我們出生地的話呢？我們中間有帕提雅人、瑪代人、厄藍人和居住在美索不達米亞、猶太和卡帕多細雅、本都和亞細亞、夫黎基雅和旁非里雅、埃及和靠近基勒乃的利比亞一帶的人，以及僑居的羅馬人、猶太人和歸依猶太教的人、克里特人和阿拉伯人。我們都聽見他們用我們的語言，講論天主的奇妙作為！」 —— 上主的聖言
When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled,
they were all in one place together.
And suddenly there came from the sky
a noise like a strong driving wind,
and it filled the entire house in which they were.
Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire,
which parted and came to rest on each one of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit
and began to speak in different tongues,
as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.
Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem.
At this sound, they gathered in a large crowd,
but they were confused
because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
They were astounded, and in amazement they asked,
“Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans?
Then how does each of us hear them in his native language?
We are Parthians, Medes, and Elamites,
inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia,
Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia,
Egypt and the districts of Libya near Cyrene,
as well as travelers from Rome,
both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs,
yet we hear them speaking in our own tongues
of the mighty acts of God.”

【答】上主，求祢噓氣，使大地煥然一新。
- 我的心靈，你要讚頌上主；我的天主，祢何其偉大。祢的工程多采多姿，萬有都是祢的果實，祢的受造物充滿了大地。
- 上主，祢若收回牠們的氣息，牠們就會歸於灰土。祢一噓氣，萬物化生，並使大地煥然一新。
- 願上主的光榮永世常存。願上主喜愛自己的工程！願我的默禱蒙上主喜悅，我要因上主而歡樂。
R: Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
1. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
O LORD, my God, you are great indeed!
How manifold are your works, O LORD!
the earth is full of your creatures.
2. If you take away their breath, they perish
and return to their dust.
When you send forth your spirit, they are created,
and you renew the face of the earth.
3. May the glory of the LORD endure forever;
may the LORD be glad in his works!
Pleasing to him be my theme;
I will be glad in the LORD.

(恭讀聖保祿宗徒致格林多人前書 1 Cor 12:3b-7, 12-13)
弟兄們：除非受聖神感動，沒有一個人能說：「耶穌是主」。神恩雖有區別，卻是同一的聖神所賜；職務雖有區別，所侍奉的卻是同一的主；工作的效能雖有區別，卻是同一的天主，在人們身上所推動的。聖神顯現在每個人身上，都是為了眾人的好處。正如身體只是一個，卻有許多肢體；身體的肢體雖多，仍是一個身體；基督也是這樣。因為我們眾人，不論是猶太人，或是外邦人，或是為奴的，或是自由的，都因同一聖神受了洗，成了一個身體，又都是同一聖神所滋潤的。 —— 上主的聖言
Brothers and sisters:
No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit;
there are different forms of service but the same Lord;
there are different workings but the same God
who produces all of them in everyone.
To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit
is given for some benefit.
As a body is one though it has many parts,
and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body,
so also Christ.
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body,
whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons,
and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

天主聖神，求祢降臨，從至高的天廷、放射祢的光明。

Come, Father of the poor! Come, source of all our store! Come, within our bosoms shine.
祢是最會慰藉人心的聖神，祢是我們衷心歡迎的嘉賓！祢是人生旅途中舒適的庇蔭。
You, of comforters the best; You, the soul’s most welcome guest; Sweet refreshment here below;
在勞苦中，祢是憩息；在酷熱裡，祢是清風；在悲痛時，祢是慰藉。
In our labor, rest most sweet; Grateful coolness in the heat; Solace in the midst of woe.
眾：天主聖神，求祢降臨，從至高的天廷、放射祢的光明。
Come, Holy Spirit, come! And from your celestial home shed a ray of light divine!
祢是幸福的真光，求祢照耀著我們，充滿祢信者的身心。
O most blessed Light divine, Shine within these hearts of yours, and our inmost being fill!
除非有祢的幫助，人便一無所有，人更一無是處。
Where you are not, we have naught, Nothing good in deed or thought, Nothing free from taint of ill.
求祢洗淨我們的污穢，醫治我們的創傷，滋潤我們的憔悴。
Heal our wounds, our strength renew; On our dryness pour your dew; Wash the stains of guilt away:
求祢馴服頑強的人，溫暖冷酷的心，引導迷途的人脫離迷津。
Bend the stubborn heart and will; Melt the frozen, warm the chill; Guide the steps that go astray.

凡是信賴祢的人，求祢扶助，賜與豐富的恩寵，施以慈愛的照顧。
On the faithful, who adore and confess you, evermore in your sevenfold gift descend;
求祢賞賜我們修德的能力，賜給我們善終的洪恩，施給我們永福的歡欣。
Give them virtue’s sure reward; Give them your salvation, Lord; Give them joys that never end.

那一週的第一天黃昏時，門徒聚在一起，因為怕猶太人，就把門戶都關上。耶穌來了，站在他們當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」說了這話，便把手和肋旁指給他們看。耶穌來了，站在他們當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」說了這話，便把手和肋旁指給他們看。說了這話，就對他們吹了一口氣，說：「你們領受聖神罷！你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就得赦免；你們不赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就不得赦免。」 —— 基督的福音
On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the doors were locked, where the disciples were,
for fear of the Jews,
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
and whose sins you retain are retained.”
